Meanwhile, in prehistoric Canada…..

No no, you don’t understand, moose really do get that big. Take it from a Canadian. I’ve seen that bullshit in person. Scary as all heck.

I live in Alaska and this exists. Trust me. It exists.

Elks can get that big. They’re everywhere in the mountains of Aizona. I piss myself every time I see one walk up to the window.

Holy fuck

Most people give the homeless change or leftovers, Mark Bustos is cutting their hair

For the past few months, New York City hairstylist Mark Bustos — who normally spends his days working at an upscale salon — has been volunteering on his days off to offer haircuts to homeless people he sees on the street. With a simple phrase, “I want to do something nice for you today,” he has been helping people get a fresh, uplifting makeover.

For people who have been trapped in a cycle of poverty, unemployment and homelessness, the makeover can also serve a useful function: looking presentable for a job.

Inspiring thanks he received from one man | Follow micdotcom

In social issues class today our professor held up a black book and was like “this book is red” and we were all “no” and he said “yes it is” and we were just all “that’s not right” and he turned it around and the back cover was red and he said “Don’t tell somebody they’re wrong until you’ve seen things from their point of view”

that speaks to me

I want him to know he’s becoming the next Tumblr sensation

Have you ever just looked at someone and thought, “I really love you”. They’re just talking or humming or watching a movie or reading a book or laughing or something, and there’s something about them in that moment that makes you think, “I just really love you”

Here you go kendrafry a story for you. Freshman year during finals week I went to hang with this girl I had a crush on like all year since the first tune I saw her working at the student union when I checked my mail then second semester she was in my acting class. So she’s studying for a final and I swear the lights in the room went dim except for around her and she just glowed. And I just couldn’t take my eyes off her. She caught my staring and asked what I was looking at. I was too shy to answer so just said nothing. Later I wrote her an email on what I really wanted to say. “How much I thought she looked like an Angel and how lucky I felt to have didnt that time with her” Here’s the sad part. She didnt check her school email till after summer break. I fell apart and thought I said something wrong and totally second guessed myself so I sent an email saying to disregard the first email. So first week of sophomore year she comes to my office and tells me that my first email was the sweetest thing she has ever read in her life and she’s sorry I told her to disregard it. And that was the end of story. I never got the nerve up to ask her out formally after that too wounded by my shyness to think she would look past the second email. So I tell you this story to tell you this. Just from talking to you I find you to be an awesome woman and I wish you great things as you start this new journey. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes they may lead to greatness.
